Problem
RedWeek, an online vacation booking site, was interested in promoting an enticing vacation giveaway offering a week-long stay at one of its stunning destinations, but needed assistance in spreading the word to maximize entrants and submissions. To reach a broader audience and generate excitement, the booking site needed to promote the giveaway through methods outside its own social media channels.
Solution
17 travel influencers were carefully sourced and selected to create over 30 pieces of content to promote the vacation giveaway. These pieces were shared organically on the influencers’ accounts and whitelisted to reach travel seekers beyond their own social media following. This strategy ensured the campaign reached a broader audience, maximizing entrants and submissions.
Results
- 83,522 travel seekers visited the custom landing page and learned about the brand as well as the vacation giveaway
- 42,743 unique submissions were received from the giveaway entry form
- The campaign realized a 51% conversion rate on the giveaway page, 70% higher than the average conversion rate on similar giveaways
